YBS elementary took a field trip to Yokosuka fire department today!

YBS elementary took a field trip to Yokosuka fire department today! We learned so much about their jobs through precious experiences, such as seeing their equipment, listening from them, asking them questions, and more! We also learned how important their jobs are in our life. Real experience always teach us a lot. YBS elementary students had a blast with local society and we appreciate for their fun and exciting opportunity of learning!

special concert!!

Today at YBS preschool and elementary, we had a special concert!! An orchestra group from Minami high school came to visit both locations and performed beautiful songs for us. YBS students were so excited with each songs. Some were swinging their body to the songs, some were closing their eyes and feeling beautiful harmony, some were singing to the music. Real experience always gives something special. Lots of thanks to high school students for this wonderful opportunity!

YBS Summer program took a field trip to Yokouska city council today!

This week, we have been learning about politics, and this experience was very precious for us!! A city councilman, Mr.Tanaka showed us the council hall and meeting hall as a special occasion! Thank you very much for this wonderful opportunity! Some students presented their idea to make Yokosuka better!! Learning and understanding about politics is not easy for young children…But meeting and interacting with a councilman, also seeing, touching, and feeling the real atmosphere of council was very precious experience. Hope this trip opened up children’s curiosity about politics! YBS children learn though real experience!!
